Additionally, access to an online technical reference and community message board will foster a collaborative learning environment. With a comprehensive curriculum supplemented by online support, apprentices will be equipped to pursue industry-standard certifications in Linux and Apple systems. This comprehensive report reflects our commitment to creating a nurturing environment that promotes the physical and mental well-being of our students and staff, fostering a culture of health and wellness throughout our schools.
Jackson City School made history on Saturday, April 13, by hosting its first-ever Robot Gladiator League tournament. The event, which featured four intense matches, marked a significant milestone for our school and showcased the incredible talent and dedication of our students.
In the opening match, Jackson City School faced off against West Carter, securing a decisive victory with a score of 63 to 26. It was a moment of triumph for our students and a testament to their hard work and commitment to excellence. Throughout the tournament, students were fully immersed in hands-on learning experiences, applying their STEM skills and problem-solving abilities to navigate the challenges of the arena. Parents and members of the Jackson City School community were captivated by the ingenuity and creativity displayed by our students, expressing their joy and excitement as they watched them in action.
As we reflect on this historic occasion, we are filled with pride for our students and grateful for the support of our community. We extend our sincere thanks to Gear UP SOAR for their invaluable support in making this event a reality.

Attention Jackson City School Students and Parents,
We are gearing up for the statewide testing that starts on **Monday, May 6th**. This is a significant opportunity for our students to showcase what they've learned throughout the year. To ensure that everyone is prepared and can perform their best, here are a few important reminders:
Get Plenty of Rest: Ensuring a good night's sleep is key to sharp thinking and concentration. Try to establish a calm, relaxing routine this weekend to help transition into the testing week.
Charge Your Chromebooks: Remember to come to school with your Chromebooks fully charged. These devices are crucial for completing the tests, so it's important they are ready to go each morning.
Stay Positive and Focused: We believe in our Tigers! A positive attitude and focus can make a big difference. You've prepared all year for this, so let's tackle the tests with confidence!
Remember, this is a team effort. Parents, please help your students by maintaining a supportive environment at home, encouraging them, and discussing strategies to manage any test anxiety. Your involvement makes a huge difference!
